Mayfair Hotel wonderful bar on the roof top of historic preservation hotel with amazing modern architecture, blue mosaics and interior fountains, nice restaurant as well
Le Bouchon - French restaurant zagatt rated, delicious
Barnacle Park - yoga on certain days and evenings, museum and concerts. Coconut Grove
Coco Walk - shops and restaurants around open air courtyard, music, movie theatre, gelatto, fun
Coral Bagles - excellent bagles and Cuban coffee, great breakfasts, behind Crook and Crook, (Dixie Hgwy and 27th), "a Marine supply store that does not live up to it's name ."
Banfield Pet Hospital - connected with Pet Smart stores throughout the country (though prices may vary) excellent care and treatment for pets after our dog was attacked, had the tropics' illnesses of ear infection, fungus - ringworm, and fleas that were resistant to proper administration of Advantax II. The vets were terrific. If you are traveling it's a great way to get good care - not sure about surgeries.
